I had an idea for a super-bulky scarf, inspired by the trend for oversized knits, using garter stitch and rib to create texture. Then, a call out came from Artesano and I saw the Alpaca Heather yarn – I fell head over heels in love with it and thought that my design would translate well. The yarn is lofty, yet soft and drapes well. It has bounce and definition – it looks fatter than it is, but it is light and airy. Oooo, I love squishy yarns.

The pattern is available on the Artesano website – while it is free, I would definitely suggest buying the yarn to make it at the same time. You won’t regret it!
